On Friday/February 13th, 2015, Sekolah Tinggi Bahasa Asing LIA Yogyakarta held a half-day teaching workshop entitled "The New Trends in the Teaching of English in the 21st-Century". The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Juul Febe da Lopez, S.Kom. from LIA Foundation Jakarta. In the workshop, Ms. da Lopez highlighted the importance of the 4Cs in 21st-century teaching: Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Collaboration. The participants of the workshop consist of STBA LIA Yogyakarta's lecturers and CLS instructors. By joining the workshop, it is hoped that the lecturers and instructors will have new insights on the current trend of teaching methodology. (ImelK)
