On September 20, 2010, STBA LIA Yogyakarta celebrated its 10th birthday. To commemorate the birthday, STBA LIA Yogyakarta held Dies Natalis Ceremony on September 25, 2010 at Maliboro Ballroom Hotel Saphir Yogyakarta. This 10th Dies Natalis were opened with the progress report speech from Director of STBA LIA Yogyakarta Dr. J. Bismoko. In his speech, he reported STBA LIA Yogyakarta progress and achievement during the academic year of 2009/2010 and also the action plan for the the academis year of 2010/2011.
The ceremony was closed with academic speech from Nugraha Krisdiyanta, S.Pd., M.Hum., lecturer of STBA LIA Yogyakarta. In his Speech : English Languege Learning: Talent or Process?, Krisdiyanta explained that in language learning process, talent is not the main factor that determined ones success in learning a foreign language, but it is the process that become more dominant factor.
